Sr Director Continuous Improvement

The Continuous Improvement Leader drives a culture of Business Excellence by providing guidance, vision, and development of the team responsible for the design and implementation of major projects that result in financial benefit and/or improved customer satisfaction. This role will provide the vision, expertise and leadership needed to drive continuous improvement in CDK. By working closely with the senior leadership team this role will serve as change agent, internal consultants and mentors. Interaction with leadership should stimulate thinking by posing new ways of doing things, challenge conventional wisdom and demonstrate successful application of new LSS methodologies. This role will report to Business Transformation Senior Director and have high visibility to senior management at the Region, Operations and Corporate levels.
:Working with the business transformation leader develop the vision and core program needed to create a culture of continuous improvement from the ELT to the individual contributor level.
:Passionately engage with key stakeholders to build a culture of continuous improvement. Leverage past experience, guidance from the BT leader, identify creative, sustainable approaches to measure and monitor our organizations progress along this journey.
:This role will be responsible for unblocking any obstacles that allow the CI Team to achieve the goal of continuous improvement.
:Responsible for leading CDK leadership through tough minded prioritization in order to ensure Continuous Improvement efforts are aligned to and fully support the profit plan and Strategic Plan goals
:Drive any individual projects to successful execution through the use of LSS tools.
:Manage a team of continuous improvement resources and review pipeline activities to evaluate progress on CI initiatives.
:Determine the appropriate tools and CI infrastructure that CDK should use globally to build a culture of continuous improvement.
:Find application opportunities for Lean Six Sigma strategy and tools.
:Serve as a change agent promoting the use of Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Develop strong relationships and possess the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.

:Experience implementing lean/six sigma approach in at least 2 different companies.
