Sales Director: Career Opportunity

You Are: A seasoned sales professional who has minimum 5 years sales management and leadership experience of direct sales people: either in a distributor environment or direct OEM to end users. Youve also successfully sold and managed your own accounts in an industrial sales environment and territory prior to becoming a sales manager.
We Are: Plitek, LLC (plitek), a globally recognized medical converter, die cutter and contract manufacturer for diagnostics, wound care, ostomy, drug delivery and other related businesses. We are FDA registered and ISO 9001:2000 certified, with more than 30 years of experience in custom converting. Our capabilities include extrusion, complex die:cutting, laminating, prototyping and clean room manufacturing. Additionally, Plitek is active in other markets, including packaging, electronics, automotive and RFID.
To Qualify: You must have a successful track record of sales management achievements of direct sales people. This includes developing, executing and attaining well:conceived sales plans, implemented by your direct reports regardless of the economy. You must have proven experience as a strong recruiter of good salespeople who you can hold accountable while also coaching and motivating them.
You have demonstrated flexibility to pursue multiple new business opportunities while also helping your team sell deeper and fully penetrate existing accounts. You also must be excellent in helping direct, manage, coach and when necessary assist in closing business in the sales pipeline.
You have high energy, instill confidence in your people and are committed to do whatever it takes
You should also be experienced in industrial sales, selling to various levels in customer organizations. You under: stand and practice selling value not price. Youre organized, possess excellent written and communication skills as well as computer and contact management skills.
Ideally you have a degree in Engineering, an analytical mind and the absolute will to succeed.
We require experience in selling and sales management in one of the following industries: converting, medical components, laminating, or industrial sales where youve calling on decision makers in businesses selling new products, new applications and increasing lifetime value at existing accounts.
Your prior earnings are at least 100k+ and you can substantiate that with W:2s.

The position calls for someone with excellent skills to rebuild and grow the sales department while creating a culture of success.
Specific Desired Skills and Experience:
4:6 years successful sales management and Sales Director experience in industrial products
Previous success meeting or exceeding personal and team annual sales goals
Experience developing sales plans which include new and existing business targets, identify vertical markets to pursue, and sales/margin goals by month by
Previous responsibility managing a team of outside sales people covering various geographic territories and leading inside customer service.
