What you’ll be doing...

Fleetmatics WORK, acquired by Verizon Telematics in November 2016, provides field service small businesses work order management tools to reduce paperwork and increase productivity. As WORK’s Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping define the future for WORK and our footprint in the field service management space for small-medium businesses. You’ll quickly come up-to-speed on the market, customer and product, while spending time with our customer-facing teams to understand how we can improve our business long-term. As a high-paced business unit within a larger company, you’ll be at the center of several projects and programs, prioritizing our investments, making quick decisions and influencing people and resources to better our position. With a thirst for information, you’ll take-on customer, competitive and partner research to keep our team up-to-date and connected, using that foundation to help make decisions about our roadmap and investments.

What we’re looking for...


  • Develop a deep understanding of the Field Service Management market to help inform long-term planning and discussions
  • Get close to the customer. Understand their industry, know their pains and know when and why WORK wins and loses.
  • Become the source of quality product and competitive positioning along with core messaging around key market problems facing SMB customers
  • Support the evaluation and business case development around new product, market and partner opportunities potential programs, partnerships or technology enhancements
  • Help the team prioritize across several investment areas and capabilities to deliver the most customer value
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to help validate the roadmap and other strategic decisions
  • Contribute to our competitive knowledge, and keep us updated on news and shifts
  • Be in-tune with current Development work, helping the team come to decisions on launch and roll-out strategy
  • Support internal stakeholders and key function areas like Sales, Marketing and Customer Support around product updates, launches and feedback into the living roadmap.


  • 4+ years working in a Product Management or Product Marketing role
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex problems with successful outcomes
  • Articulate about his/her direction and the business arguments to support it
  • Not afraid to ask tough questions, explore unfamiliar territory and challenge status quo
  • Independent and self-starting while constantly developing relationships with surrounding teams and stakeholders
  • Travel 25% (to Rolling Meadows, IL)
