NQC Manager : Sales Effectiveness Team
Location: This role may be based out of Chicago, IL or Hackettstown, NJ
Purpose of Role:
To lead and drive through strategy, project and operational management, a measurable step change improvement in our non:plant non:quality cost behaviours, processes and performance. Design and implement solutions that will lower our non:plant NQCs in accordance with agreed goals by working extensively within and beyond the Sales function.
(1) NQC Strategy Development and Delivery
:Identify key drivers of non:plant non:quality costs, with root causes : leverage these insights to formulate actionable amelioration strategies to evolve and continually develop our NQC policy
:Provide objective thought leadership to internal teams who need to feed in to or react to non:plant non:quality costs trends and impacts (including but not limited to Brand Boards, Sales and Marketing Leadership teams, Demand teams, Sales teams, and Supply teams) to support them in identifying and removing drivers of NQCs
:Collaborating with and learn from counterparts in other units and segments to harness and deploy best practices
:Partnering with Sales Finance co:pilot on spend implications of NQCs : e.g. Swell Allowance : to include policy setting, swell deployment criteria, intersects with overall trade framework and tools
(2) NQC Project Management
:Building on strategy development, project manage and serve as an internal consultant within Sales and work as part of the greater NQC team (including Value Leadership Champion and other business partners) to improve the management of and drive reduction in non:quality costs : investigation, collaboration, and process re:design will be key
:Through structure, discipline and revised processes, drive down non:plant waste NQCs over the next two years
