MicroTek, an industry leader providing global learning solutions to corporations of all sizes, is seeking qualified professionals to fill our current openings for full time Inside Sales Account Executive, in our corporate office located in Downers Grove, IL.
Our Sales Account Executives have the opportunity to work with a broad, global customer base providing solutions to support customer training events. We offer a high demand service where our clients easily recognize the need for the service we provide. Often our clients say we are the best kept secret in our industry so we are hiring this position to help spread the word! Our Inside sales team is enthusiastic & supportive. Our work is fast-paced and never boring. Our sales cycle can be short, allowing this individual to manage several opportunities simultaneously.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage an existing book of business together with company provided inbound leads. Earnings potential over $100k is possible for this role. Come Grow with US.
Responsibilities for our Inside Sales Account Executive include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain ongoing, favorable relationships with existing customer base.
- Daily contact to new business prospects, past customers and existing customers introducing our services.
- Achieve assigned quota as an individual contributor.
- Qualify and close sales from leads generated via incoming phone calls, emails, marketing campaigns and web inquiries.
- Prepare quotes/proposals and handle necessary follow up to close the opportunity
- Work closely with our Customer Service team to support customer requests on a daily basis.

Minimum Qualifications/Required Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience in a professional sales role working directly with customers in a B2B environment.
- Inside Sales experience managing multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously
- Comfortable on the telephone pitching discrete service offerings
- Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational ability and time management skills.
- Must be a team player who can take direction well, but also capable of working independently.
- Proficient use of a CRM system & Microsoft Office (at minimum Outlook & Word).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
