As the Director of Marketing and Business Analytics, you will work closely with all levels across the Company to identify and analyze customer, sales, financial, product and industry data. Leading a team of two, you will lead the analysis and interpretation to help guide our Marketing, Sales and Product Management teams to grow profitable revenue. You identify yourself as a change agent who is capable of evolving an existing function within a mid:sized company : and enjoys rolling up the sleeves in a hands:on role, but is also a strategic, big:picture leader.
Cool Parts Of the Job
* Working directly with our Sales Team, leverage data to design and execute customer:specific pricing strategies for covered accounts; suggest and execute pricing strategies for smaller, uncovered customers.
* Working directly with our Marketing Team, design customer value:based scoring models and marketing response models to target appropriate customers, based on business needs.
* Working directly with our Product Management Team, to provide optimal product pricing models to meet business goals.
* Working with our Finance Team, linking financial and standard cost data with product data.
* Performing detailed data analysis, summarizing findings, and create actionable models from such analysis.
* Working with various Business Intelligence tools ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
* Strategically advising business partners, sharing results of analytical findings in order to increase customer success, retention, and growth.
* Interface and work cross:functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development and serve as a thought leader throughout the company.
Experience and Attributes Wed like You to Have
* 10 plus years of relevant business based experience in a marketing analytics environment
* 5 or more years of experience in a leadership capacity managing direct reports
* Minimum bachelor degree in quantitative field: Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science etc. required. Masters / MBA highly desirable.
* Experience in SPSS or similar statistical software package preferred
* Possess a valuable combination of deep experience utilizing data analytics, while being able to effectively tell the story behind the analytics and also translate the findings into meaningful business recommendations and insights
* Proven background in managing complex data sets, performing data analysis, and finding accurate and insightful conclusions and recommendation
* Experience serving as a key user of large data sets, CRM systems, and automated platforms such as Salesforce, Navision, IBM Sales Cloud, etc.
* Previous experience evaluating, testing, and tracking marketing campaigns, while assisting with the development of additional campaigns.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to prepare and deliver executive or client:level presentations. :
