We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager who is bilingual in Spanish

We are seeking candidates with property management experience to join our team and help us carry out our vision at a Tax Credit development in Chicago, IL. The candidate must be team oriented and must excel in providing superior customer service to elderly residents. The candidate must also be fluent in conversational English and Spanish. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
:Communicates all problems and special cases and makes recommendations to the Property Manager and the Property Supervisor.
:Processes re:certifications (i.e., sets up interviews, assist with filling out forms, follows up with processing information, performs rent calculations, prepares leases).
:Inspects site grounds and common hallways on a regular basis.
:Monitors make:ready status of vacant apartments.
:Conducts housekeeping home visits, and marketing outreach to local agencies and businesses.
:Acts as a liaison and advocate on behalf of the residents to public and private agencies.
:Carries out rent collection program and follow:up procedures for delinquent rent and evictions in accordance with company policies.
:High school diploma (minimum); 2:year or 4:year degree a plus.
:Proficient with Microsoft Office products and property management software.
:Leasing experience preferred (one year minimum).
:Illinois Leasing License or be able to obtain within 120 days of hire
:Must have Tax Credit Certification or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
:Good communication skills.
:Fluency in written and spoken English/Spanish required.
:Confident, positive attitude and manner.
:Able to interact effectively with wide range of people.
