Lake County Symphony Orchestra
is currently accepting applications to audition for the following....

- principal flute
- principal bassoon
- principal trumpet

Auditions will consist of 15 minutes of solo playing and an additional interview with the committee. Applicants will play a solo of choice and three contrasting excerpts of their choice. They will also be paid to play a concert with the orchestra as part of the audition. LCSO plays 6 events a year and principals are allowed to miss 1 concert.

LCSO is a dynamic and passionate member run/member fund raising orchestra. Everyone who is a member donates work for the orchestra in various capacities outside of playing. Only players with an interest in the entrepreneurial aspect of the orchestra and a desire to help build the arts in Lake County through this group should apply. This is not just a play for pay ensemble. Applicants should have skills valuable to the ongoing life of an arts group to offer - a list of possibilities can be provided. Skills & Qualifications:

professional orchestral playing experience and a degree in music

interest in entrepreneuiel arts organizations

passion to paint outside the lines of just orchestral playing
