Manage food and beverage operations to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations concerning health, safety or other requirements.

Financial Returns: Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage and labor costs. xF0B7; In partnership with the catering office, identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue. Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value. xF0B7; Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.

People: xF0B7; Manage day:to:day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance. xF0B7; Educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff is properly trained on quality and service standards, has the necessary tools and equipment and is empowered to carry out job duties.

Guest Experience: xF0B7; Ensure all food and beverage equipment are in proper operational condition and are cleaned on a regular basis. xF0B7; Ensure that food and beverage facilities are cleaned and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume. Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs. xF0B7; Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

Responsible Business: xF0B7; Manage local food and beverage marketing programs for the hotel; participate in and maintain system:wide food and beverage marketing programs and promotions. Monitor local competitors and industry trends. Review and approve menu design and concepts with Executive Chef.

xF0B7; Conduct proper food and beverage inventory procedures. Determine minimum and maximum stocks for all food, beverage, material and equipment. xF0B7; Ensure the security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Supervises a large number of team members in food and beverage outlet. Oversees subordinate managers and key holders.
Company Description:/h3:
The founder, Mansoorali Lakhani, began his long journey out of his impoverished village in his home country of Pakistan at the age of nineteen. Embarking on a cargo ship as a cleaner, he left with hopes of earning enough money to send back to his family. Traveling through Europe while working odd jobs, he finally landed in New Orleans and soon after moved to Chicago.
In 2004, Lakhani took a leap into the hospitality industry by purchasing the Holiday Inn Skokie, and thus starting Lakhani Hospitality. In 2006, Lakhani began construction on the Skokie Banquet and Conference Center, adding 11,000 sq. ft. of meeting rooms to the Holiday Inn Skokie. In the coming years, Lakhani purchased the Holiday Inn Chicago OHare and the Holiday Inn Oakbrook. In 2016 the Ramada Plaza Wheeling joined the family and this year we built the brand new Holiday Inn Express Niles.
