Position Summary
The Project Manager: Advancement Services is responsible for records management, archives management, and information architecture for the Advancement Services area, and assisting with formulating firm policies and best practices around content for the area.
The Project Manager: Advancement Services is also responsible for moving client projects forward and is responsible for assisting Advancement Services consultants with developing the RFM for all Advancement Services sections of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to reference requests from consultants and other staff using Microsoft SharePoint and physical archives on site, as well as publically available resources.
Summarize research for firm principals and consultants within the Advancement Services area in a variety of formats, from bibliographies to short-form literature reviews.
Contribute data collection and research to publications including the Grenzebach Glier Quarterly Review and the GG+A website for Advancement Services content.
Maintain industry awareness and capture pertinent third-party research and data regarding Advancement Services.
Assist in updating the firm’s metadata taxonomy related to Advancement Services.

§ Provide administrative support on study projects, including request for materials documents.
§ Assists in developing final reports and presentations, assuring the firm's quality standards.
§ Assists in client data compilation projects, including design of survey instruments, data collection, graphic representation, and report design.
§ Collaborate and communicate with team members. Discuss project deadlines with other GG+A colleagues as part of the project team and ensure that work is prioritized appropriately.
§ In house expert on Advancement Services to assist proposal team with questions and best practice information to include in client proposals.
§ Include work colleagues in best practice advances. Ensure deliverables follow GG+A style, format, and best practices’ standards.
§ Maintains helpful, positive attitude; contributes to an efficient, collegial working environment.
§ Other projects and duties as assigned.

Core Competencies
§ Good understanding of Advancement operations including Records, Financials, IT, Reporting, Prospect Research, Prospect Management, Donor Relations and Stewardship, Benchmarking and Analytics.
§ Experience in donor management/fundraising software applications, database design, and Microsoft applications.

Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of organizing and indexing information.
Ability to work with minimal direction and under pressure to meet exacting deadlines.
Willingness to maintain high standard of client deliverables.
Ability to apportion time and prioritize tasks to satisfy deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Data analysis and strong experience developing visual depictions of data trends.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability and willingness to learn new systems (technologies, databases, etc.).
Desirable traits: Overachiever, flexible, ability to switch priorities, speed and accuracy, attention to detail, desire to produce outstanding work, results oriented, self-starter, team player, and a can-do attitude.

Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Advancement Services arena.
Experience and proven ability with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
