At Lakeview Pantry, our mission is to feed the whole person, not just the hunger. We accomplish this through emergency food assistance and comprehensive social services addressing the root causes of poverty and hunger. Case management addresses a variety of short-term and long-term needs of our clients. We’ve recently expanded programming to include mental health counseling for uninsured clients; clinicians work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief or other stressors to develop the coping skills necessary for sustained mental health. We are seeking a seasoned clinician to join our team and to oversee our Social Services program.

Responsibilities include:
1. Manage all aspects of the Social Services program.
2. Manage and provide walk-in case management services during distribution hours and long-term services by appointment. Conduct intake, assessments and service plans.
3. Allocate grants distributed to clients to assist with basic needs such as employment, housing, and health care.
4. Maintain accurate client case records that include assessments, interventions and service plans, and case notes.
5. Provide information and referrals to connect clients with other social service agencies in the community.
6. Manage and provide mental health counseling (individual, couple, and family) including intake, goal setting and regular sessions with clients.
7. Create and manage social and educational programs aimed at building client community and decreasing social isolation.
8. Build and foster partnerships with organizations that provide services that meet the needs of clients. Work with these partners on ways to increase the client’s accessibility to their services, including bringing their services onsite.
9. Track distribution of funds, produce reports related to program activity, and comply with programming and reporting expectations of grants related to the program. Create and track benchmarks of the program’s success, and make recommendations for improvement. Communicate the program’s operations and findings to staff, board, funders and the larger community.
10. Engage in outreach with clients to ensure that they are aware of how the program operates and how it may benefit them.
11. Arrange and supervise interns as needed.
12. Provide trainings to staff and volunteers on relevant topics such as crisis intervention; and provide individual consults as needed about challenging client and volunteer situations.
13. Act as an ambassador of the work of Lakeview Pantry to the larger community.

Top Candidates will have:
1. Master’s in Social Work preferred or Master’s in other human services field required.
2. In process/Licensed Clinical Social Work (L.C.S.W.) or in process/Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (L.C.P.C.) strongly preferred.
