The David L. Hoyt Education Foundation ( is a non-profit that was formed to help facilitate, enable, and develop play-based learning. The Foundation was formed in 2015 and is currently experiencing a period of growth. The founders have just opened the doors to the David L. Hoyt Center for Collaborative Learning in Lincoln Square. The Center for Collaborative Learning will provide after-school and summer programming to students ages 8-14. David L. Hoyt, the co-founder of the DLHEF, is also the world’s most syndicated puzzle creator and inventor of two amazing large format games, GIANT Word Winder and GIANT Math Winder (, which are a big part of what happens at the Center of Collaborative Learning.

We will be co-hosting a public event at the Chicago Public Library, Harold Washington Branch's Winter Garden on Sunday July 16th from 1-4:30pm and are seeking an experiienced photographer to capture the events of the day. The event will be to SET a Guinness World Record for Largest game or GIANT Word WInder ever played. We will be putting 20 GIANT Word Winder games together for a total of 1620 square feet of playing surface! The event will be busy and hectic so we need someone skilled in capturing action and people.

We are requesting that interested photographers email us with a link to your website or previous work and a quote. We are a 501(c)(3), so any non-profit discounts would be appreciated. Your quote should include both event and post production time.

Photographer should be experienced in photographing events, action, and people. Post production is required.
