Manage all reporting analysis for Verizon Connect (VZC) Channel sales organization. Position will support all channel segments for existing and future distribution points.

Responsible for managing a team of reporting analysts in the creation, automation and unified repository of sales, territories, analytics for the VZC Channel Sales team. This position will work closely with the Channel operations leader as well as channel sales leaders to develop recommended reports and analytical tools to track sales and key performance metrics for each channel segment.

  • Manage territories and assignments for all channel sales teams
  • Manage sales trends reporting and discuss insights with VZC executives
  • Manage all reporting requirements, development, publishing and automation of channel sales reports

What we’re looking for...

Strong analytical skills. Ability to understand the strategic direction of the business to determine appropriate recommendations for both compensation related questions as well as sales teams structures and territory design. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with and negotiate with all organizational levels. This position will interact directly with front line sales teams, sales leadership, sales operations and VZC executives. Current tools to manage the commissions are based in Excel and Salesforce. Understanding of internal Data warehouse structures for both VZW and VZC. Ability to extract data and create automation for multiple users to access. These insights/recommendations will be shared with sales leaders and executives.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to organize large amounts of data in a way that can be consumed by leadership to make business decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Proficiency using appropriate business and marketing applications, i.e. Salesforce, Insight Squared
