The PrivateBank is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disability/VeteranDevelop and maintain a general knowledge of the companyA?s operations, including how the individual departments interact with one another.Develop and maintain technical expertise in the all applications used by the Business Continuity department.Maintain Business Continuity Application databases.Produce monthly Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program Metrics for management.Develop an expertise in business continuity operational framework including Business Impact Analysis best practices, Risk Assessment and Mitigation, Critical Ratings, Recovery Time Objectives, Recovery Point Objectives, Maximum Acceptable Outage, etc.Participate as a support member of the Business Continuity Incident Management Team.Assist with the development of educational materials relating to preparedness and response programs with business units and Organizational Performance and Development to ensure staff awareness.Maintain an understanding of appropriate Regulations regarding Business Continuity and Financial Institutions in order to ensure program compliance.Maintain effective and timely communication with all employees to ensure coordination and exchange of information for accomplishing goals.Coordinate safe meeting place evacuation procedures and conduct periodic tabletop exercises for each of our facilities.Participate in disaster recovery exercise coordination and implementation.Perform other duties as assigned by the Business Continuity Manager.1:2 years of experience supporting Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery.Experience with SunGard LDRPS, Fusion RM or other BC planning application preferred but not required.Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and sound judgement in problem solving. Ability to set goals and prioritize objectives pertaining to tasks, projects and deadlines. Analytical, problem solving and trouble shooting skills.Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with management, staff, and vendors. Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively communicate. Ability to present a professional image when dealing with staff, vendors, external organizations, and management. Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Advanced level Excel and Database experience.Ability to maintain databases of information.Availability to work non:business hours during Disaster Recovery Exercises, as needed.Ability to travel to other Bank locations on an as needed basis.
