BRANCH MANAGER
EXEMPT STATUS

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Reports to the Territory Manager and is responsible for the overall production and operation of an office; including sales, recruiting, profitability, budgeting, developing new business, personnel advancement and ensuring the ethical delivery of our service to clients and candidates in a way that increases billing and profitability.

MANAGEMENT
:
Demonstrate leadership and integrity
:
Provide clear direction and goals to staff both on an individual and team bases
:
Set the pace and be an example for all branch office employees
:
Hire and maintain a staff of employees who deliver unparalleled service to our clients
:
Financial management of branch operations (budgeting, forecasting, monthly P and L review, credit and collections, etc.)
:
Receives, researches and answers customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, services, rates, and complaints, and addresses issues at customer sites
:
Guide employees by coaching and training, including cross:training
:
Recognize staff for great performance
:
Create improvement plans for employees not producing at acceptable levels
:
Influence positive employee motivation to encourage high levels of performance
:
Document disciplinary issues
:
Monitor staff performance through element tracking and production attainment
:
Train staff on solutions:based thinking
:
Ensure data integrity by inspecting data in the system weekly
:
Complete quarterly reviews and yearly career development plans for all employees
:
Create succession plans
:
Inform upper management of all critical situations
:
Monitor all unemployment and workman compensation claims
:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws

SALES / RECRUITMENT
:
Maintain current sales base and increase the revenue base for the branch
:
Set, communicate and track sales goals for the branch
:
Prepare target reports, activity reports and weekly updates and similar information as required. Monitoring sales and budgets in comparison to projections
:
Direct the sales function through target accounts, top 10 accounts, prospects and established accounts
:
Create marketing plans to develop new business
:
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the top 25 accounts in the branch
:
Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the top 10 recruiting sources
:
Validate the credit worthiness of all clients
:
Approve all bids/proposals before delivery to clients
:
Attend calls with your staff on a regular basis to evaluate performance and increase sales
:
Maintain a profitable Gross Margin Profit
:
Ensure all quality control procedures are implemented

SERVCE / ADMINISTRATION
:
Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of branch operations required to ensure compliance (Workers Compensation, Unemployment, All Hiring Documents, Compliance of onboarding documentation of all field and internal employees
:
Develop an effective relationship with the leasing, service and security staff at the branch
:
Ensure the efficient operation of all office equipment
:
Arrange the opening/closing schedule to provide adequate coverage for client/candidate needs
:
Attend all management training and meetings

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPECTATIONS
:
Minimum of 2 years sales and management experience in the staffing industy
:
Ability to use pro:active approach to planning and management in order to ensure branch runs efficiently
:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
:
Creative problem
