Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment Management
Higher Education Experience in International Markets Highly Preferred
Department: Corporate Admissions and Marketing
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
General Purpose
The Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment Management provides visionary leadership in the development, implementation, and achievement of strategic marketing, recruitment, retention, and business development goals of the institution. This role is responsible for critical recruitment and marketing strategies, enrollment projections, goals, budgets, policies, procedures and guidance for Admissions and new program development.
Technology driven position from a marketing and administrative perspective.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Develops, directs, and coordinates Admissions Departments activities in accomplishing goals and objectives of the organization.
Lead, create and implement an institutional branding and messaging program in accordance with the institutional Strategic Plan.
Develop and implement strategies and policies to define, enhance and broaden the institutes leads generation processes according to the Strategic Plan.
Lead the organization in building new revenue streams, program diversification, and new market identification and penetration.
Develops an annual student recruitment plan for the campuses that aligns with corporate strategic and budgetary goals.
Broaden and increase awareness among internal and external constituencies.
Monitors results and conducts audits to ensure the achievement of targets; and reviews and adjusts strategies as needed.
Continually monitor and maintain all regulatory marketing and recruitment compliances and oversee quarterly audits in these functional areas.
Assist with hiring, managing, on:going training and coaching Admissions Managers and Admissions Representatives to ensure the development of a strong recruitment team that yields results high quality students
Develop a market research process that provides information for institutional decision:making for an integrated marketing and communications program to align with and support the organizations strategic priorities.
Promote a collegial and collaborative environment by working closely with all departments to build and maintain support to effectively implement an integrated marketing and communications plan throughout the institute.
Oversee staff members and vendors who are directly responsible for implementing aspects of the integrated marketing and communications program.
Oversee the management of all resources that are appropriated for integrated marketing and communications.
Advise the institute on topical issues and trends in higher education and how they might impact the community and/or how the institute could leverage them in integrated marketing and communications efforts to the best advantage.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Superviosry
Admissions: Direct supervision of Admissions Managers and Front Office Managers. In the absence of a manager, direct management of admissions representatives and administrative assistant.

Marketing: Direct supervision of Marketing Manager. In the absence of a manager direct management of Marketing staff.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred. Knowledge of Higher Education preferred; proven record in enrollment management, including work with international student populations; thorough understanding of student information systems (SMS ideally); Proven ability to strategically develop and implement an integrated marketing and communications program; with at least five years service in marketing and/or admissions management roles.
