The Assistant Teacher will work as part of a teaching team at our NAEYC Accredited, culturally diverse program serving children in a combined Head Start/Pre-K classroom and assist in creating a stimulating learning environment by: Providing an educational setting that encourages excitement for learning and preparation for kindergarten Developing learning centers that focus on school readiness Assist with lesson planning and implementation Partnering with the teachers on best practices and creating a warm and welcoming environment Encouraging children to engage, discover, and problem-solve Supporting continuous collaboration with parents and families.
