Our Manager of Pharmacy Operations go above and beyond. From overseeing pharmacy program operations, assisting in supervising the Pharmacy activities to routine dispensing as needed. This job has it all. It requires a knowledge of procedures and regulations balanced with typical departmental management skills. Think youve got what it takes?

WHAT YOU WILL DO 13;
:Coordinate staffing schedule to provide volume:based staffing and satisfy the needs of the customer.
:Respond to emergency staffing shortages assisting as needed.
:Maintain unit/department/area expenses/productivity within established guidelines.
:Submit monthly expense variance justifications and proposes action plan as needed.
:Submit capital requests based on needs analysis and long range planning as needed.
:Hire, train, counsel, discipline, transfer, evaluate, and promote direct reporting staff positions.
:Investigate, evaluate, and resolve concerns of customers and keep the next level of management informed of significant developments.
:Inspects area for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and takes preventative steps and corrective action when violations occur.
:Prepare department for accreditation and regulatory survey readiness.
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED 13;
:Working knowledge of a variety of reimbursement concepts, practice, and procedures.
:Knowledge of computer systems, medication:use processes, safety issues, and clinical management of medications.
:Retail and/or Hospital Pharmacy with drug wholesaler applications experience.
:Successful time management skills.
:Communicate effectively, verbal and written.
:Understanding of pharmacy benchmarking principles. 13;
