Insurance Claims Administrative Assistant – Glen Ellyn, IL
Need a resourceful problem solver, proactive thinker and self-starter for a very fast-paced office. 3 to 5 years’ administrative assistant experience required.

McLarens, the global loss adjusting company, is searching for an experienced full time Administrative Assistant responsible for providing administrative support for claims adjusters, and acting as liaison to clients/insureds.

Responsibilities include: setting up new assignments and preparing acknowledgement notices to clients/agents, maintaining adjuster’s diary and entering adjuster’s time on each assignment, assisting with Proofs of Loss and reporting billing; general office duties of answering telephone, monitoring incoming email, copying, filing, etc.

Required skills and experience:

Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Organized and able to prioritize
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Typing 65 + WPM
Spelling and grammar
Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and MS Word
High School diploma or equivalent required.
