We have a team of dedicated, amazing people that manage these back:end operations and our Audit Analyst is one member of that team. This analyst is charged with performing audits of inaccurate adjudicated accounts and reconciles to the contract and corresponding explanation of benefits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 13;
:Review all assigned accounts for documentation of accurate or inaccurate claims adjudication, and document all results in Managed Care Database and hospital information system.
:Illustrate contract interpretation proficiency level.
:Prepare reports as required by management regarding process improvement recommendations and systemic claim processing issues.
:Identify payer specific trends and investigates revenue opportunities related to the identified trends
:Make monthly observations and recommendations to prevent future cash losses.
:Provide input to Managed Care director to assist in contract negotiations and enhancement of revenue through improved contract terms
:Work closely with Managed Care Collector to collect underpaid accounts; if performing the Collector role in addition to the auditor role, meets all collector related competencies.
:Document results of all special project work, and provide recommendations for revenue managing opportunities relating to special projects. 13;
WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED 13;
:Experience with MS office, previous auditing experience and EPIC EMR preferred.
:Strong Quantitative, analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in coding and documentation methodologies, and ability to understand, interpret and explain medical records, electronic or paper, and physician bills.
:Understand insurance terms, (i.e. HMO/PPO, EOB, etc.) and payment methodologies Ability to communicate both verbally and written in dealing with staff, physician and other personnel.
:Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
:Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 13;
