Job DescriptionSummary: Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support functions for all departments, as directed. He/she may be crossed trained with other departments/staff in the company in order to serve as a backup during peak hours as well as filling in if needed during an absence. The Administrative Assistant may also be assigned special projects with daily operations while performing these duties. Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm each week.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:General Office duties as assigned.Proficient in Microsoft Office, ( Word, Excel,).Provides daily clerical duties as required, which may include faxing and scanning copies.Serious commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.Perform special projects as assigned by management.Use e-mail as primary communication with managers land staff.Handles outgoing and incoming UPS shipmentsSign for all incoming packages and deliveries and notifies addressee via e-mail or phone call upon arrival. Take messages as required and e-mails them to appropriate employee.Excellent communication and customer service skills are required during interaction with both internal and external professionals of all levels on a daily basis.Excellent correspondence skills including phone, written, and in personSafeguard all patient and employee information by keeping all written and verbal communications confidential.Ensures all actions are in compliance with HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations.Responsible for entering and updating forms and reports on a daily basisConduct accounts receivable functions as assignedProvide general administrative support for managers and staff.Respond to routine correspondence as needed.Create, type, and distribute internal and external correspondence Complete special projects as requiredThis is a full time (Day) position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30 pm We do not work weekends.We provide paid training as part of initial employment. Training is approximately 3 weeks in length. The salary will be based on experience. After a 90 day probationary period a performance review will be scheduled for possible salary adjustment.We offer benefits after 60 days of employment including medical and dental coverage. We pay a portion of the employees premium. Family coverage is available.
